Assemblage Series Marsha Bailey refers to these artworks as "Assemblages." They are three-dimensional and hang on the wall.
Bailey says,
"My assemblages are the result of spontaneous intuition married serendipitously to the material world in which I lived and am living.
I find myself drawn to certain objects, phrases, dreams and spontaneous visions which I transmute into the art form aptly named ASSEMBLAGE.
I regard this body of work as a family of individuals. While sharing certain traits such as niches, coat forms or metal grids, each also possesses a unique personality." The Hero's Journey series is a special group of siblings.
