Dahab - Cairo / Suez Tunnel We (David and Marsha) started our DAHAB ADVENTURE by driving from Cairo to the Suez Canal, under the canal via the tunnel near the city of Suez, across the the Sinai Peninsula and then down through the Canyon of Color to the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba and along the coast to Dahab.
This page shows views along our drive from Cairo to the tunnel under the Suez Canal near the city of Suez. We would like to show you photos of the cool tunnel, but there were multiple checkpoints and a lot of men with big guns staring at us the rest of the way through the tunnel zone..
