Dahab - Hilton Hotel

We spent the second half of our visit to Dahab in residence at the Hilton. This is an older hotel with the qualities of a previous generation. It was probably very impressive when it first opened, but our experience of contemporary refinement at the Le Meridien left us with higher expectations. We had a spacious suite with a balcony with a view of the "lagoon" as it was advertised when I booked the reservation on-line. The "lagoon" is a no-swimming-allowed pond with a blue pool liner. There are absolutely no views of the sea from the first-floor rooms. I hope the second-floor rooms do.
